FAMILY LIFE SUPPORT CENTER, INC. Louison House
Providing Transitional and Permanent Housing Solutions for the Homeless

Jessica Shetterly, PSH Client
Jessica arrived at the Louison House in December 2011 with not much going right for her. A history of drug abuse and mental health issues presented a challenge for her and the Louison House staff to address, but she overcame these difficulties during her enrollment in the Transitional Housing Program. In the spring of 2012, Jessica transitioned to the Permanent Supportive Housing Program where she is thriving today. After recently being diagnosed with Huntington’s disease, Jessica is grateful that she has the support of a case manager to help her deal with her care. Even though she has a disability that will get progressively worse, Jessica is living in the moment by continuing her education and volunteering her time. Eventually, Jessica would like to have joint custody of her 3 children now that she is in a stable place in her life.
