2013 Louison House Friends Campaign Kicks Off

Adams, Massachusetts (June 3, 2013) - The 2013 Louison House Friends Campaign is underway as the Family Life Support Center, Inc. (FLSC) is currently soliciting contributions in order to help fund its shelter programs and supportive services. Since 1999, FLSC has raised over $200,000 from its annual Louison House Friends Campaign. This year, FLSC has set a goal of raising $30,000 over the next three months. Please contribute today as your donation will make all the difference in the lives of homeless children!
FLSC is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to reduce homelessness and its causes in Berkshire County by providing transitional and permanent housing solutions for the homeless. For more than 20 years, FLSC has been the leading provider of housing for the homeless in Northern Berkshire as we have sheltered over 3,500 people during that time. You can help keep the Louison House open for another decade by making a contribution today!

1st Annual Louison House CALCUTTA FUNDRAISER
DATE: Friday, July 12, 2013
LOCATION: Bounti-Fare Restaurant
COST: $75 for 2 tickets (No single tickets)

WHAT IS A CALCUTTA FUNDRAISER?
When you purchase a ticket, you receive a number between 1 and 99 (this number will coincide with a number on a ping pong ball). All the balls go into a bag. Starting around 7:30 PM we will start drawing balls out of the bag. If your ball is drawn you may win a door prize(Generous gifts from local businesses.), but you may be out of the drawing for the $1,000.00 prize - maybe.**
** THERE WILL BE 2 BALLS LEFT OUT. BOTH BALLS WILL GUARENTEE A SPOT IN THE BOTTOM 10. These 2 balls are available to all ticket holders and social attendies.
RAFFLE BALL – *We will be selling raffle tickets for the 100th ball during the evening, so you can still have a chance to win the $1,000.00 even after your original ball has been drawn. This ball guarantees a spot in the bottom 10!
AUCTION BALL - *After the first 90 Balls have been drawn, We will hold and auction for this ball to guarantee a spot in the bottom 10!
When we get down to the last 10 balls left in the bag, those 10 people decide how to handle the $1,000.00 - whether to split it or keep drawing numbers. We will then keep drawing numbers until all remaining ball holders unanimously agree to split it equally, or until there is only one left, in which case, the winner will take the $1,000.00.
Upon Completion, Live music and cash bar will proceed.
